Teaching enquiry based learning
All health professionals must ensure that they are providing the best possible, reliable and trustworthy advice and therefore approach their work as evidence based practitioners.
Being competent in enquiry based learning is fundamental to this approach and this working group will describe and analyse methods used by DIETS2 Partners to teach enquiry/systematic investigation and research methods to students at first, second and third cycle.
This analysis will enable the working group to make recommendations about tools for teaching and also promote the sharing of successful dietetic research methodologies across the Network.
We hope that with the sharing of research and research expertise especially through our conferences and the development of an e-journal for the student dietetic profession enquiry based learning will increase.
An e-course will also be developed and posted on the DIETS2 website.
