Welcome to Diets2 Thematic NetworkDIETS is the acronym for our first Network (2006-09) Dietitians Improving the Education and Training Standards. DIETS2 is our second network ‘Dietitians ensuring education, teaching and professional quality’ funded by the EACEA (2010-13). Dietitians come together from education, professional associations and others to improve education at all levels (Dublin Descriptors) and make dietetic curricular transparent (Tuning) and accessible (ECTS). The Network works across 31 countries in Europe and with international partners.All members and students of our 107 partners can access this website to find out more....... DIETS2 Webinars DIETS2 Webinars18th June, 2013 - webinar on reflective learning held by Prof Anne de Looy to learn more about what reflective practice is, how to do it and how to reach it. Beginning of June - webinar on the toolkit, presented by Uta Köpcke, lead of WP3, of what Lifelong Learning (LLL) is, where you can get information and tools to improve your learning. End of June - webinar on European Dietetic Advanced Competences (EDAC), held by Prof Agneta Hörnell, Lead of WP1, on how EDAC can be used when planning Lifelong Learning. The Seventh EFAD/DIETS General Meeting and Conference will take place near Lake Garda, Italy on 8/9 November 2013. The conference is open to all, including practising dietitians, teachers and students. The business part of the EFAD General Meeting, hosted by the Italian Dietetic Association (ANDID), will be on Thursday 7 November. Admission to the business meeting is restricted to the Presidents and delegates of National Dietetic Associations who are full members of EFAD. The preliminary programme, registration, travel and accomodation details will be available soon.
